Honey Josephine Bell - Kind of gothy, mostly grumpy, she is bit obsessed with the artist Jhonen Vasquez. She doesn't really care for the company of others with the exception of Venus and Possum. She spends her time working at the campus Library, riding her bike, reading comics, and waiting for her life to change, for better or worse, whichever comes first.

She writes Jhonen letters as if he were her pen pal. Her goal is to some day meet him and get his signature on her (already signed) first issue of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. She lives off coffee, frowning, and wasabi peas.

Jhonen Vasquez - Honey's favorite artist. Look him up on the internets... all of them.

Venus (previously Christopher James) is a stereotypical woman trapped in a man's body. She changed her name to Venus at the age of 17 after reading Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and now lives as a pre-op transexual and dresses like Marilyn Monroe.

She met Honey at the mall when they bumped into each other at the make-up counter both buying false eyelashes. They have been fast friends ever since. She is equally obsessed with Bette Middler though she likes to deny it.

Possum (not to be confused with Opossum) is Honey's cat. He likes to go for rides in her bike basket. Shenanigans ensue.
